I just purchased this 10,000 btu propane empire and it works great and says usa made on the box. These heaters are expensive but they are absolutely worth the price. I've got an empire 30,000 propane radiant that has been in use since 2005 still works perfect. I also have a blue flame 30,000 that was installed in 1993 works great never had any issue with the heaters but the blower motor went out on the 93 heater after only 15 years of use, Ill stay with empire as long as they keep making them. stay away from dual fuel cheap imported heaters, I just scrapped a brand new imported heater It was still under warranty but I wouldn't have another one if you gave it to me.
